The ABS’s Monthly business Turnover Indicator draws on Australian Taxation Office business Activity Statement data from monthly remitters, primarily covering businesses with annual GST turnover of $20 million or more, along with some smaller firms that report monthly. The indicator spans 13 industry divisions and provides a timely complement to quarterly economic measures.
