The corporate regulator has suspended the Australian Financial Services (AFS) licence of Beacon Wealth Pty Ltd, saying the firm is no longer carrying on a financial services business.
ASIC said AFS licence number 239 946 has been suspended until 7 April 2026. The move follows a change in ownership and control in June 2024, when Beacon Wealth’s directors were replaced and all shares were sold to a new owner. Since that transaction, the business has not been operating in financial services, and the individuals designated as responsible managers and the key person named on the licence no longer have any involvement with the licensee.
Beacon Wealth has told ASIC it intends to start operating a financial services business under the suspended licence, but will first need to secure the necessary approvals from the regulator.
AFS licence 239 946 was issued in 2003. The licensee has previously traded as CCZ Statton Pty Ltd, CCZ Statton Equities Pty Ltd and CCZ Equities Australia Pty Ltd.
